hey-yo! sorry I haven't posted on here in ages, but I've been pretty preoccupied... hopefully now that testing season is coming to an end, I will be able to post slightly more frequently, although I can't make any promises.
I still suck at titles, so suggestions are welcome and appreciated as always.
DFTBA!

so... I went with a couple of friends today to give blood at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and I was just really struck by how amazing these people are. when I walked in, there was an adorable little boy (who, I learned, has cancer) and the nurses all stopped to chat with him, and see how he was doing. Even when I was feeling faint post-donation, they all kept checking in on me to make sure I was ok, and to offer me something to drink or eat. These people dedicate their lives to helping people who are dealing with unimaginable struggles, and knowing what a great job they do helps me sleep a little better at night .
Thank you, Sloan-Kettering! keep up the great work!
to donate:
every little thing counts!
stay beautiful, and DFTBA!

first off, I'll be going away for the rest of the week, and I probably won't have wifi, although I'm not 100% certain. if not, I'll respond to all comments, questions, responses, etc, when I get back.
secondly, I broke my iPod, and if any of you know how to fix it I'd be thrilled and immensely grateful. the problem is like so: the iPod itself is in perfect working order, everything works perfectly. EXCEPT. whenever I click the home/power buttons I'm greeted with the white screen of death. If you have any suggestions/solutions PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know!
thanks in advance,

I'd just like to thank everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes I received last week! you guys are all so sweet, and they were much appreciated! I'm sorry it took so long to get back to all of you, but I was out of town in no NoWifiLand for the past week, so I couldn't thank you earlier.
so, thanks again, and I hope your birthdays are as awesome as mine was!
