Salutations! Once again, I'd like to apologize for not uploading in a very, very long while. Between school, familial obligations, and a not-quite-empty social life, I don't seem to have much time to upload pictures! I'm going to finish uploading photos from my recent trip to South Africa, and maybe a few miscellaneous photos as well. Also, I seem to be only a few page views away from my next thousand! Maybe that will prompt another spontaneous explosion of uploads... And then I suppose it's goodbye for another few months, or as we say in my hometown, until the next time! Thanks for the support! hey-yo! sorry I haven't posted on here in ages, but I've been pretty preoccupied... hopefully now that testing season is coming to an end, I will be able to post slightly more frequently, although I can't make any promises. so... I went with a couple of friends today to give blood at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and I was just really struck by how amazing these people are. when I walked in, there was an adorable little boy (who, I learned, has cancer) and the nurses all stopped to chat with him, and see how he was doing. Even when I was feeling faint post-donation, they all kept checking in on me to make sure I was ok, and to offer me something to drink or eat. These people dedicate their lives to helping people who are dealing with unimaginable struggles, and knowing what a great job they do helps me sleep a little better at night :). Thank you, Slo
